-
Laser hair removal uses a laser light energy with a specific wavelength. During treatment, lasers emit energy in the form of light onto the skin. The melanin in the hair absorbs this energy and converts it into heat which then destroys the hair follicles to prevent or stop future growth. BLEND X technology harnesses the power of two wavelengths for greater effectiveness for hair-free skin.
-
The 755nm wavelength is great at treating lighter skin, and the 1064nm is great for darker skin, but it’s not one size fits all. Blending these wavelengths together in the correct amounts for your skin type provides a perfectly customized treatment. A large square shape spot size helps the practitioner line up the treatment areas on your body. You do not have to worry about spots missed this way. And the Dual Cooling System (DCS) combines cooled air and a cooled tip to protect your skin and ensure a very comfortable treatment.
-
Thanks to BLEND X technology, you should need fewer sessions than with a treatment using just a single laser wavelength. It blends two laser wavelengths to harness their power and unique properties - and achieve better results. Lasers are effective when hair is at an early growth stage. Because not all hairs will be at the same stage at the same time, you’ll need multiple treatments to permanently remove the unwanted hair.
-
SPLENDOR X is generally suitable for all skin tones - even tanned skin - and for all body areas and types of hair. However, laser hair removal may not be right for everyone and does carry some risks. SPLENDOR X isn’t suitable if you have an active infection or inflammation, viral, fungal or bacterial disease, active cold sore, or open wound or abrasion in the area you want to treat. Risks may include changes to skin pigmentation and texture. Upon your complimentary consultation, our laser technician expert will determine if you are the right candidate, and will answer all your questions.
-
Laser hair removal is highly effective for men, offering a long-term solution to managing thick or coarse hair and achieving a well-groomed appearance. At Chiselle Aesthetic & Wellness in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, men can experience the next level of precision and efficiency with the advanced Splendor X system. Its square-tip design creates clean grooming lines without overlap, while the large applicator quickly treats areas like the back and shoulders in shorter, virtually pain-free sessions. Combining Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths, Splendor X is safe for all skin types and eliminates the hassle of shaving, razor burn, and ingrown hairs, leaving skin smooth and effortlessly maintained. Explore our specially tailored laser hair removal packages for men and book a consultation with our experienced laser technician today!

Electrolysis Hair Removal
What is Electrolysis Hair Removal?
Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved permanent hair removal method to get rid of unwanted hair. Electrolysis hair removal targets individual hair follicles using a fine probe and an electric current to destroy the root. This method can be used on any skin or hair type, preventing hair from regrowing.
-
Laser hair removal is a highly effective technique for many, but it has limitations. Since it relies on chromophores, it doesn’t work on white, gray, red, or light brown hair. In these cases, electrolysis is the only permanent solution to remove these hairs effectively. Electrolysis is also safe for use anywhere on the body, including delicate areas like the eyebrows and both upper and lower eyelids.
However, electrolysis requires more sessions, typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, as it targets one hair follicle at a time. This method is time-consuming and not ideal for covering large areas quickly.
At Chiselle Aesthetic & Wellness, we recommend considering electrolysis when laser hair removal isn’t suitable. Our expert team is here to help you choose the best method for your unique needs.
-
A very fine probe is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle alongside the hair shaft without piercing the skin. Once the probe is inserted, electricity, or sodium hydroxide, is delivered to the hair papilla to cut off the blood supply to the hair follicle. This will kill the roots of the existing hair and prevent the growth of new ones. The treated hairs will then slide out the hair shaft without resistance.
-
At Chiselle Aesthetic & Wellness, we are proud to introduce Silhouet-Tone, SEQUENTUM VMC. This electrolysis system features an advanced delivery that modulates the current in both intensity and duration while the needle is in the follicle. This innovation brings greater stability and control of the energy distributed, which means more effective results without compromising our client’s safety and comfort.
-
Silhouet-Tone, SEQUENTUM VMC system allows us to pick the most effective modality and program that fits the patients’ hair type. There are three different modalities:
1. Galvanic: it uses direct current to cause a chemical reaction within the body creating sodium hydroxide to destroy the hair follicle.
2. Thermolysis: it applies short-wave radio frequency or alternate current to create heat and destroy the hair follicle. This is the most commonly used method because it is very fast and effective.
3. Blend: It combines heat and current to speed up the galvanic chemical reaction to destroy the hair follicle. This method is slightly slower than thermolysis but is very effective and often used to treat difficult hairs like deep curly ingrowns.
-
After electrolysis, you must apply an antibacterial cream to the treated areas.
Avoid any activity that could cause you to sweat excessively.
Avoid direct sun exposure until the skin is healed.
Avoid touching or scratching the treated area in the days following treatment.
-
Most people describe the feeling as a heat sensation followed by a pinch each time the needle attacks a new follicle. Patients report small amounts of pain during the process, too. It’s also common to see redness and swelling for a few hours after treatment. Some people see small scabs on the surface of the skin, but they fall off naturally.

Laser Facials
Laser facials, propelled by the innovative Nd: YAG laser, represent a revolutionary advancement in non-invasive aesthetic treatments, offering a versatile solution to address a multitude of skin concerns including tone and texture, across all skin tones, without the inconvenience of downtime.
The mechanism behind Nd: YAG laser treatment revolves around its ability to emit a specific wavelength of light (1064 nm) that penetrates the skin's layers without causing damage to the surface. This targeted approach allows the laser to effectively treat skin conditions such as acne proliferation, hyperpigmented patches, diffused redness, wide pores, and wrinkles.
Depending on the skin type and the specific condition being treated, our skilled aestheticians will select the most suitable laser facial series using our state-of-the-art technologies. This may include a
treatment with different Nd: YAG laser beams such as Q-Switched, Long Pulsed, or Short Pulsed.
Our goal is to tailor the treatment to your individual needs, providing effective solutions for your skin concerns while ensuring your comfort and safety throughout the process. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if would like to schedule a consultation.

Acne Vulgaris is the most common skin disorder, affecting approximately 85% of individuals between the ages of 12 and 24. This condition is characterized by a dysfunction of the sebaceous glands, leading to clogged pores and the development of lesions such as zits, pimples, and pustules. It typically manifests on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders.
Our Acne Clearance Laser Facial can treat active acne lesions along with improving acne scars and pigmentation, issues caused by acne breakouts.
Firstly, Fotona’s Q-switched Nd:YAG laser safely penetrates the skin to an optimal treatment depth to heat the sebaceous glands in the dermis while leaving the outer layers of the skin unaffected. This process causes the oil-producing glands to shrink and produce less oil thereby reducing acne.
Secondly, the laser beam can diminish acne-causing bacteria. When bacteria get trapped in hair follicles devoid of oxygen, they can incite inflammation. Laser treatment reintroduces oxygen to the pores, aiding in the destruction of bacteria and alleviating inflammation. In addition, the Q- Switched Nd:YAG laser treatment also accelerates the healing process and stimulates collagen remodeling, an important step in the long-term treatment of acne scarring.
By employing this dual approach, our Acne Clearance Laser Facial aims to effectively manage acne breakouts and enhance overall skin health. If you're interested in learning more or scheduling a session, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Rosacea is a skin condition characterized by superficial vascular damage and diffused redness. Nd: YAG laser therapy provides a promising solution by effectively addressing both symptoms using various Nd: YAG laser beams. The Long-Pulsed Nd: YAG targets and coagulates visible blood vessels, effectively reducing symptoms like telangiectasia and erythema. Additionally, the Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser significantly diminishes redness through the photoselective absorption of hemoglobin.
We typically advise a series of treatments, as repeated sessions consistently stimulate new collagen production, thereby enhancing overall skin health. For instance, we may recommend a regimen of 6 treatments spaced every 3–4 weeks.
Potential treatment options:
Anti-Redness Laser Facial:
Couperix Peel + Fotona Laser
Single session $190
Package of 6 for $900
Rosacea Duet Laser Facial:
Splendor X Vascular + Fotona Nd:Yag

One of the standout features of the Fotona Nd: YAG Q-switch laser is its ability to generate intense short pulses of light to target melanin-rich areas in the skin. This rapid heating causes the pigmented cells to fragment into smaller particles, which are then gradually absorbed and eliminated by the body's natural processes. Delivering these pulses in nanoseconds, result in breaking down pigmented cells while minimizing harm to surrounding tissue. This technology enhances safety, eliminating the need for skin cooling and reducing the risk of scarring.
Consequently, deeper dermal pigmented lesions such as Melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) fade away safely, while more superficial lesions like age spots, sun spots, and freckles are effectively lightened and reduced. A series of treatments is recommended, combined with a specific skincare regimen for optimal results.
Potential treatment options:
Brilliant Complexion Laser Facial:
White-up Peel + Fotona Nd:Yag
Single session $190
Package of 6 for $900
Melasma Fadeaway Laser Facial:
Brilliant Complexion Laser Facial + TXA infusion

Skin texture issues such as laxity, wrinkles, fine lines, and enlarged pores are common signs of aging skin and degraded collagen. Our advanced Fotona Q-Switched 1064 Nd:YAG laser precisely targets these concerns by delivering light energy deep into the dermis without causing damage to the skin's surface.
This targeted and non-ablative approach stimulates the natural production of collagen, effectively revitalizing your skin from within. By penetrating the skin's layers, the laser promotes new collagen formation, enhances cell renewal, and boosts fibroblast production. These processes are essential for achieving a more youthful and smoother complexion.
What sets our treatment apart is its convenience. With minimal downtime, it's the perfect "Lunch time" solution for busy individuals seeking non-invasive yet effective skin resurfacing and age-defying results.

Our Fibroblast Plasma Pen is an FDA-approved device that delivers precise energy to the skin. By creating a controlled plasma arc, this method carbonizes the surface layer of the skin, allowing for the removal of skin tags, age spots, and other small lesions. The treatment promotes natural healing, resurfacing the skin without the need for surgical excision.
-
Nitrogen Plasma is highly effective for treating conditions like Actinic Keratosis and Seborrheic Keratosis. In addition, the energy from nitrogen plasma disrupts bacterial cell walls and biofilms, changing the pH levels within the lesion. This helps destroy unwanted lesions while stimulating the skin's natural healing processes, making it ideal for viral conditions like warts.
-
Agnes RF uses insulated needles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy beneath the skin, specifically targeting overactive sebaceous glands responsible for lesions such as Sebaceous Hyperplasia and Syringoma. This allows for the precise destruction of these glands without damaging the surrounding skin.
-
Laser energy is another effective option for treating dermal lesions, such as Cherry Angiomas or Nail Fungus. The laser emits a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the target lesion, generating heat that destroys the tissue while sparing the surrounding areas. This precise targeting makes laser therapy a safe choice for visible, superficial lesions.
Each of these technologies can be used alone or in combination to achieve optimal results, providing safe and effective removal of skin lesions with minimal discomfort and downtime.
